Lucky Lizard Tap House
Welcome to the Lucky Lizard Tap House, a charming American restaurant located at 14953 Gulf Blvd, Madeira Beach, FL. As I stepped into this delightful establishment, I was immediately struck by its welcoming atmosphere. The buzz of lively chatter and clinking glasses set the perfect tone for a casual dining experience.
The highlight of Lucky Lizard Tap House lies in its diverse selection of drinks and food, making it the ideal spot for anyone looking to unwind by the beach. With rotating taps featuring domestic favorites such as Michelob Ultra, Landshark, and Bud Light at just US$4.25, you'll find something to sip on without breaking the bank. The shooters, like the classic Margarita and Kamikaze, are equally enticing, priced at US$4.50.
As I settled in for a meal, I couldn't help but notice the rave reviews from fellow patrons. Jayne Hughes mentioned, "Great bar with great friendly staff," and I couldn't agree more. The staff here, including Maddi, Clint, and Richard, truly elevate the experience with their friendly demeanor and attentive service.
- Taco Tuesday is a game changer, as Laura West highlighted in her review. The tacos, filled with peppers and cheese, added a kick that perfectly complemented the refreshing outdoor seating.
- Live Music is another feature that adds to the allure. As customers like Brian J. pointed out, you can enjoy a mix of great music and mouthwatering dishes, enhancing your evening.
- Though my dining experience began with some spicy corn dip, an instant hit among customers like Natalie T, I didn’t stop there. The fish spread, recommended by Tammy Owins, proved a tasty start to my meal.
What struck me most was the unpretentious decor that gave the place a laid-back vibe. Inspired by the owner’s roots from Kansas, there are fun memorabilia pieces that add a personal touch. As Mia Bullock noted, this is a family-friendly place that welcomes fans of all kinds, especially those drawn by the Kansas City Chiefs theme.
Whether you’re in the mood for a chilled drink, delectable food, or just a fun night out with friends, Lucky Lizard Tap House offers it all. I left feeling refreshed and excited to return. As customer Jeff Cheslik aptly put it, "You won’t find better food or service while hanging by the beach." I couldn't agree more!

This place is relaxed, easy, fun! I enjoyed visiting with Brendan!!! It’s Taco Tuesday and the tacos had some peppers, cheese, and great spice! Outdoor seating at the bar is great with the breeze and sunshine. I love the lighting and fun decor! It’s karyoke night and he’ll play anything you want! Loving some 80’s music!!!!

Memorial Day weekend, stopped in for beer, food and a chill. Sat at the outside bar in which you will feel like you are in a high chair do to the counter-seat proportions-moved inside when a seat opened. Had the fish spread, that I try anytime on the menu-the spread was good but served with crostini and chips, which take away from the taste, it was better eating with the lettuce as a salad. Also had the ok/good Cuban Sandwich. Live music playing, accessible restrooms, hard to find parking, head to the street to the west of the strip shops.

We enjoyed our evening! It wasn't fancy, but it was casual and comfortable. We sat inside at a hightop. The temp was perfect with the outside air flowing through. (The outside corners of the location are open with seating at the windows, facing inside.) We started with 2 off margaritas and delicious corn dip. For dinner, we had veggie nachos and chicken tacos (4 off for taco Tuesday). We also purchased shirts. Our server/bartender was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The decor included Kansas City Chiefs items; the owner is from Wichita, KS. So it was fun to see something from our area of the U.S.
